Navigating Adversity™ is 100% virtual and is delivered online in weekly lessons.
Each trainee is assigned to a Certified Peer Mentor from the First Response profession who provides regular guidance, encouragement, and feedback.
Individual training results are 100% confidential and not shared with anyone other than the individual student.
Each participant trains in the eight researched and validated wellness dimensions that, when taken together, explain every aspect of human health and behavior.

No matter which of the remaining pillars you want to focus on, you will also be trained in the development of Psychological Capital!
Our bodies communicate with us every day. Headaches? Muscle pain? Back problems? Every time we feel a ping of discomfort, it’s our responsibility to respond. In this course, you’ll learn which physical system is communicating with you based on your symptoms and will focus on four areas with the most potential for overall physical health improvement - fitness, nutrition, flexibility, and sleep. Prioritizing your physical health has quality of life implications every single day for the rest of your life. Make them matter!
Mindfulness may be the term de jour, but it’s only part of what it takes to unlock your brain’s potential. By learning how your mind processes information, what kind of fuel it needs to optimistically resolve challenges, and collaborate with its processes to handle critical decisions with ease, you will build exactly the kind of cognitive resources necessary to out think, out strategize, and out maneuver any roadblock you face. This is a learning experience with the potential to change the way you view everything about the impact you make on the world around you!
Our emotions drive our impulses, our mood, and even impact the way we interact with the people we love. The hormones that pulse through out veins are either friend or foe, depending on whether they drive us or we drive them. By recognizing the influence of the past and establishing boundaries for the future, we are in a position to tap into our hormonal reserves on demand to meet the needs of every human interaction we have for the rest of our lives!
